Know of Any Races? Thank you so much to everyone who sent us information regarding races in Iowa!

It’s a new year, and we’ve clean-up all the old race dates off the site. The Cedar River Runners Club is requesting for more running entry forms to post. If your group is putting on a race/walk, or if you know of upcoming race events, we would be happy to post them on the Cedar River Runners Club site! Send us the Who/What/When/Where and we’ll post it on our 2010 Race Calender.

Email entry forms or race details to: Joe Cook or to Casey Slack Thanks, Happy Runnin’!

Because of flooding the 2010 Sturgis Falls Half-Marathon route, we needed to re-route the course…Check the new course here! Thanks to everyone who went above and beyond to re-route the course!!! See you on Sunday everyone!!!

Dear Cedar River Runners Club,

Are you and your runners looking for a challenge in 2010? Are you looking for a new environment to achieve what most people only dream of? Adrenaline Sports Management presents a new and exciting race in October and would love for your runners to be included!

We are introducing the first ever running of the Wisconsin Dells Marathon and Half Marathon, held at 8:00am on Sunday, October 24th, 2010. The event will be giving all of the participants a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenic views that the Dells and Adams County has to offer. All participants will finish with a long straightaway, running back towards the Wisconsin Dells Center.

All marathon runners will receive a Wisconsin Dells Marathon windbreaker! All Half Marathon runners will get the matching long sleeve shirt! All runners will also receive customized winter hats and gloves.

There will be an expo all day on Saturday at the Chula Vista Resort, Grand Ballroom, from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The expo will include more than 15-20 exhibitors featuring the newest athletic gear, sports nutrition, and information about the Wisconsin Dells area. This is also where runners will pick up their participant packet, bag, timing chip, bib number, and customized Dells Marathon apparel!

After the expo, all runners will be invited to a pre-race pasta party at Chula Vista Resort.
The fee for running the full marathon is $90. Half Marathon runners will pay a fee of $55. Register now, because the prices will increase on October 1st.

We would appreciate it if you could contact all of your runners regarding this event, and we would be happy to give you your own personal tent/rest area near the start or the finish line for gear, food, and beverages if 15 of your fellow runners come out to the race!
